It was the topic of the peer-counseling session conducted by students with disabilities who are the beneficiaries of the DRD’s mentoring and scholarship program on 16 December 2018.
Peer-counseling has become an important activity to help students with disabilities to be confident, rebuild relationships, and be able to live independently. Sessions was taken place in an open, sincere, trusting atmosphere. Through many sessions, students shared their experiences in love and mentioned the reasons that prevent them from expressing their love to others. Disability, the public’s attitude, barriers from family are factors that make them less confident.
